ABSTRACT
Bioinspired multicompartmental microfibers are generated by novel capillary microfluidics. The resultant possess multicompartment body-and-shell compositions with specifically designed geometries. Potential use of these for tissue-engineering applications is demonstrated creating multifunctional fibers a spatially controlled encapsulation cells.
