ABSTRACT
Abstract Multichannel devices, which can manipulate multiple distinguished wavefronts like a kaleidoscope, are preferably desired for compact systems with higher integration and smaller footprint. Particularly, multiband metasurfaces one of the intuitive effective approaches to expand number operation channels in meta‐devices. In this work, strategy design four‐channel metasurface based on novel single‐cell quad‐band meta‐atom is proposed kaleidoscopic wavefront manipulations. While illuminating circularly polarized wave, independent 2π phase shifts at four distinct frequencies be obtained by single‐layered substrate almost theoretically maximal transmission amplitudes. As proof‐of‐concept demonstration, designed realize single‐vortex beam generator, dual‐vortex meta‐hologram, focusing metalens 1, 2, 3, 4, respectively. The experiment full‐wave simulation results agree very well each other, validating concept. has increased while guaranteeing electromagnetic performance, may lead advances variety multifunctional devices structure such as ultra‐thin metalenses, generators, holographic displays.
