ABSTRACT
Abstract Purpose Postoperative pancreatic fistula is a serious complication of distal pancreatectomy. Although many studies have described the incidence and risk factors associated with postoperative (POPF), few focused on healing time. This study investigated time potential POPF after pancreatectomy (DP). Methods Among 114 patients that underwent DP in our hospital from January 2010 to December 2020, we included 88 developed POPF. The for was defined as interval between completion removal all drains related treatment Based definition, three cases who required additional were excluded this study. Clinical times 85 patients. Results average 11 ± 10 days (median: 6 days, range: 3‐57). We found neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio, marker inflammatory nutritional status, only factor independently time; mean significantly shorter ratio ≤2.1 (8 days) than those >2.1 (13 12 days; P = .0139). Conclusion demonstrated could predict DP. These findings suggested improving might shorten
