ABSTRACT
Abstract In this work, an unsteady‐state strategy for rapid measurement of gas diffusivity in liquid is proposed, which has a quick perturbation the flow rate inner tube obtaining change across membrane with time. The taken full advantages tube‐in‐tube reactor that possesses high permeability Teflon AF‐2400 to accelerate diffusion without direct contact between two phases. With developed mathematical model fitting recorded variation time, can be determined within 0.5–3 min compared conventional methods 4–14 hr. addition, demonstrated several gas–liquid systems (O 2 ‐DMSO, CO ‐[Emim] [NTf ] and ‐[Bmim] [BF 4 ]) varied viscosities temperatures, showing good agreement literature values less than 10% deviation.
