ABSTRACT
Bor wirkt leistungssteigernd: Ein metallfreier Elektrokatalysator aus bordotierten Kohlenstoffnanoröhren erzielt gute Ergebnisse in der Sauerstoffreduktion. DFT-Rechnungen zufolge liegt dies an einer verstärkten O2-Chemisorption und dem effektiven Einsatz von π-Elektronen des infolge Bordotierung konjugierten Kohlenstoffmaterials.
