ABSTRACT
Abstract Precious metals are valuable materials for the chemical industry, but they scarce and pose a risk of supply disruption. Recycling precious from waste is promising strategy, here we tactfully utilize light irradiation as an environmental‐friendly energy‐saving adjunctive strategy to promote reduction metal ions, thereby improving adsorption capacity kinetics. A newly light‐sensitive covalent organic framework (PP‐COF) was synthesized illustrate effectiveness feasibility this auxiliary strategy. The equilibrium capacities PP‐COF with towards gold, platinum, silver ions 4729, 573, 519 mg g −1 , which 3.3, 1.9, 1.2 times under dark condition. Significantly, filtration column can recover more than 99.8 % gold in simulated e‐waste leachates irradiation, 1 gram up 0.15 tonne leachates. Interestingly, captured by mainly exist micron‐sized particles, be easily separated extraction. We believe work contribute recovery circular economy recycling resources.
