ABSTRACT
A robust and general catalyst system facilitates the alkoxylation of activated heteroaryl halides with primary, secondary, select tertiary alcohols without need for an excess either coupling partner (see scheme). This displays broad functional-group tolerance excellent regioselectivity, is insensitive to order reagent addition.
