ABSTRACT
Abstract Enantioseparation of limonene‐based bicyclic 1,3‐aminoalcohols and 1,3,5‐ 1,3,6‐aminodiols was performed by normal‐phase high‐performance liquid chromatographic supercritical fluid (SFC) methods on polysaccharide‐based chiral stationary phases. The effects the composition mobile phase, column temperature structures analytes selectors retention selectivity were investigated LC SFC technique. Thermodynamic parameters derived from selectivity–temperature‐dependence studies found to be dependent method applied, nature selector structural details analytes. Enantiorecognition in most cases enthalpically driven but an unusual behavior also observed: decreased times accompanied improved separation factors with increasing temperature, i.e. some entropically separations observed. elution sequence determined all cases. stereoisomers optimized both modalities.
