ABSTRACT
Abstract Person‐organization fit theory is among the most productive theoretical frameworks used to assess relationship between an organization and its employees. Nevertheless, P‐O literature has often limited scope evaluation of in values domain, overlooking fit‐in needs. This study addresses this issue under motivated identity construction (MICT, Vignoles, Handbook research , New York: Springer; 2011). In particular, we analyse how individual identity's needs may influence retention engagement 35 workers. Findings demonstrated that need for efficacy fundamental workers s. Not only aspect motivation rated as more important comparison with others but also a direct impact on identification company indirect effect (through organizational identification) intention leave.
