Key Clinical Message Desmoplastic round cell tumor, though rare, must be taken into consideration as a differential diagnosis, thus aiding in early evaluation and changing the trajectory of natural history disease condition, improving prognosis patients. Abstract small tumor is aggressive mesenchymal origin with an incidence 0.74 cases per million. We present young adult periumbilical mass who was diagnosed desmoplastic later treated exploratory laparotomy resection no recurrence during 6‐month follow‐up period.
