ABSTRACT
Abstract Anatase TiO 2 ‐modified flower‐like Bi WO 6 nanostructures were prepared by a simple hydrothermal reaction followed layer‐by‐layer deposition and calcination. The photocatalytic activity was evaluated using Brilliant Red X3B, an anionic azo dye, as the target organic pollutant under UV‐Vis light irradiation. experiment results showed that of hybrid increases first then decreases with increasing loading amount . coated four layers (containing 20 wt‐% ) highest activity, which is 10.45 3.20 times higher than pure , respectively. improved performance could be ascribed to light‐harvesting ability, efficient photo‐generated electron‐hole separation, enhanced adsorption dye. This work may shed on design complex architectures exploitation their potential applications.
