ABSTRACT
Abstract Aerographite is a three‐dimensional carbon foam with tetrapodal morphology. The manufacturing of aerographite carried out in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process, based on zinc oxide (ZnO) template, which the morphology replicated into hollow shell. During replication template reduced by simultaneous formation structure. CVD process one most efficient methods for various nanostructures, such as graphene or nanotubes (CNTs). Based growth mechanism aerographite, computational fluid dynamics model presented fundamental investigations temperature and flow/microflow behavior during process. This allows deeper understanding further optimizations.
