ABSTRACT
Abstract Electrodes modified with oppositely charged platinum and gold nanoparticles exhibit electrocatalytic synergy of glucose oxidation. Such a simple method preparation bimetallic nanoparticulate films produces an electrode significant shift the onset potential as compared to electrodes prepared only from (ca. 0.45 V) or 0.6 nanoparticles. The observed effect results close proximity Au Pt surfaces within film. was also characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, powder diffraction measurements cyclic voltammetry.
