ABSTRACT
AbstractThe safety evaluation of operating water transfer tunnels lacks sufficient research, particularly in integrating safety monitoring and detection information for a comprehensive assessment. Therefore, this paper proposes a method for safety assessment of water transfer tunnels by integrating monitoring and detection information based on evidence theory. The method involves establishing an evaluation index system for safety monitoring and detection of water transfer tunnels. It utilizes a basic probability assignment construction method based on equal interval numbers and an improved Analytic Hierarchy Process to obtain the basic probability assignments of monitoring and detection information. The weights of the information for water transfer tunnels are determined using the AHP, and the monitoring and detection information from various sources are integrated using the synthesis rule of evidence theory. The fusion results show that the proposed method effectively addresses the uncertainty of safety monitoring and detection information, resulting in more comprehensive safety evaluation outcomes.
