ABSTRACT
The exploitation of molecular catalysts for CO2 electrolysis requires their immobilization on the cathode electrolyzer. As an illustration this approach, a Ni-cyclam complex with cyclam derivative functionalized pyrene moiety is synthesized, found to be selective catalyst electroreduction CO, and immobilized carbon nanotube-coated gas diffusion electrode by using noncovalent binding strategy. as-prepared efficient, selective, robust electrocatalytic reduction CO. Very high turnover numbers (ca. 61460) frequencies 4.27 s-1 ) are enabled novel material in organic solvent-water mixtures saturated . This provides interesting platform further improvement.
