ABSTRACT
Abstract The hidden‐terminal problem significantly degrades the performance of IEEE 802.11 DCF. Many previous works have investigated its influence on throughput CSMA‐based medium access control (MAC) protocols, especially In this paper, we introduce a new Jamming for 802.11‐based mobile ad hoc networks, which is caused by hidden terminals. An analytical model established problem. Based model, an adaptive DCF (ADCF), designed to solve jamming through adaptively adjusting minimum contention window Simulation results effectively demonstrate that proposed A‐DCF can avoid and in turn greatly improve channel utilization throughput.
