ABSTRACT
Abstract Neuroblastoma is the most frequent extracranial solid tumor in childhood, but it seldom diagnosed prenatally. We report a case of adrenal neuroblastoma identified at 39 weeks' menstrual age and successfully treated by postnatal surgery chemotherapy. Sonography revealed hyperechoic mass right upper quadrant fetal abdomen associated with hydramnios hydronephrosis. Two days after delivery, was resected. No metastasis identified. The infant received 6 cycles chemotherapy, 2 years she well, no signs recurrence. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. J Clin Ultrasound 29:250–253, 2001.
