ABSTRACT
We explored the effect of leukotriene B4 (LTB4) on endothelial cells in LTB4-induced transendothelial migration (TEM) neutrophils as an vitro model neutrophil extravasation. Chemotactic response human to LTB4 was significantly lower than that N-formyl-methionyl-leucyl-phenylalanine (fMLP), whereas extent TEM higher fMLP. The study random induced by and fMLP also showed similar results, which indicated might affect umbilical cord vein cell (HUVEC) barrier. Neutrophil pretreatment HUVEC monolayer with but not Treatment ONO-4057, a receptor antagonist, abolished almost completely treated ONO-4057 could transmigrate through LTB4. These findings induce acting HUVEC.
