ABSTRACT
Abstract The aims of the study were to investigate electrochemical response a new dental Au‐20Pd‐10Ag‐5Ti alloy in artificial Carter‐Brugirard saliva and assess its biocompatibility using gingival fibroblast culture. Electrochemical techniques potentiodynamic linear polarization used. Also, open circuit potentials corresponding potential gradients monitored for 5000 exposure hours. was estimated by LDH‐cytotoxicity, MTT cell proliferation assays, assessment substrate‐dependent changes extracellular fibronectin network, morphology actin cytoskeleton organization. cyclic curves exhibited passive behaviour with transpassive dissolution silver, without pitting corrosion. Open finally stable at noble values. have low values that could not generate galvanic or local did promote damage alterations adhesion morphological features, exhibiting good biocompatibility.
