ABSTRACT
Abstract The problem of the analyzing mutual coupling for conformal array in practice is addressed. Experiment designed sectoral cylinder composed 12 cavity‐backed stacked microstrip antennas. Based on measurement element complex patterns, phase pattern calibration technique and least squares method are adopted to calculate matrix (MCM) array. It shown that actual modified by MCM agrees well with ideal desired pattern, which confirms validity accuracy calculation MCM. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
