ABSTRACT
Abstract Outdoor spectral measurements in sub‐Sahara, South Africa particular have not been documented probably due to lack of data or proper methodologies for quantifying the effects on photovoltaic performance parameters. Crystalline‐Si modules are widely used system designs most cases based provided from indoor maritime northern hemispheric conditions. As a result this, PV systems fail deliver their intended maximum power output. In this study, methodology outdoor c‐Si commonly found African continent is presented. The results three crystalline‐Si indicate that these affected as spectrum shifts during seasons although devices perceived (without data) influenced by seasonal changes spectrum.
