ABSTRACT
Electron paramagnetic resonance and luminescence spectroscopies were applied to study the incorporation charge stability of Eu2+ luminescent ions in single crystals KLuS2:Eu found an earlier optical [Jary et al., Chem. Phys. Lett. 574, 61 (2013)]. The location structure was unambiguously determined three different centers identified described. Two these correspond substitution for K+ Lu3+ providing thus effective mechanism due self-compensation lattice. observed spectra are consistent with results electron experiment can be decomposed accordingly.
