ABSTRACT
Organisms are constantly exposed to the detrimental effect of environmental DNA-damaging agents. The harmful effects genotoxins could be decreased in a viable way by antimutagenesis. One modern approaches reduce mutagenic burden is based on exogenous natural and synthetic compounds that possess protective antimutagenic potential against genotoxins. kaempferol jatropham isolated from Lilium candidum were tested with respect their protect cells radiomimetic zeocin, as well cytotoxic genotoxic activities two types experimental eukaryotic test systems: Hordeum vulgare human lymphocytes vitro. Mitotic index (MI) was used an endpoint for cytotoxicity; frequency chromosome aberrations (MwA) number induced micronuclei (MN), endpoints genotoxicity/clastogenicity. Formation aberration "hot spots" also indicator genotoxicity H. vulgare. Both shown modulate decrease genotoxic/clastogenic zeocin depending design system. Our data useful health research programs, particularly clarifying pharmacological activity plant compounds. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Environ Toxicol 31: 751-764, 2016.
