ABSTRACT
First, to evaluate and compare the performance of routine ultrasonographic estimated fetal weight (EFW) abdominal circumference (AC) at 31 + 0 33 6 35 36 weeks' gestation in prediction a large-for-gestational-age (LGA) neonate born ≥ 37 gestation. Second, assess additive value growth velocity between 32 EFW for LGA neonate. Third, define predictive different cut-offs on ultrasound examination Fourth, propose two-stage strategy identifying pregnancies with fetus that may benefit from iatrogenic delivery during 38th gestational week. This was retrospective study. data 21 989 singleton had undergone 45 847 weeks were used AC birth > 90th 97th percentiles 14 497 previous scan 30 34 determine, through multivariable logistic regression analysis, whether addition velocity, defined as difference Z-score or early late third-trimester scans divided by time interval scans, improved database gestation, screen-positive detection rates ≤ 10 days after initial calculated percentile 50th percentiles.First, areas under receiver-operating characteristics curves (AUC) screening significantly higher using than (P < 0.001 all). achieved not velocity. modest (65% 46% neonates percentiles, respectively, rate 10%), but better (84% 71% 11%). 70th predicted 91% 82% 32%, respective values 85th 88%, 81% 15%. On basis these results, it proposed biometry is rather diagnostic test macrosomia should be identify need another 38 weeks, which those considered week.First, third trimester if carried out method AC, outcome measure occurs within any stage assessment. this study presents maximizing prenatal Copyright © 2019 ISUOG.
