ABSTRACT
To assess the value of a new ultrasound technology, named XI STIC, that is composed volume reslicing modality 3D and STIC for routine fetal cardiac screening in second trimester. Sixty-two datasets fetuses without heart defects were obtained using ACCUVIX (Medison Co Ltd, Korea) reviewed with help PC Viewer (laptop program). associated enables ‘slice-by-slice’ approach examination beating allows simultaneous visualization transverse planes from upper abdomen to mediastinum. The complete offline survey was based on criteria Dr Yagel Yoo (‘5 short axis’ planes: abdomen, four-chamber view, five-chamber main pulmonary artery, three-vessel trachea view). Each resliced 12 consecutive planes, whose distances adjusted an optimal landmarks. In addition, long-axis views great outflows their crisscrossing acquired by revolving volumes along x- or y-axis 30–45 degrees. rate each diagnostic plane calculated. our preliminary study ‘upper abdomen’ not visualized some cases due insufficient sweep angle appropriate capture ‘stomach level’. view all cases, as initiated after imaging chest. Table lists frequency visualization. With it possible generate standard only single volume. algorithm makes feasible evaluate ‘5 outflow simultaneously available conventional approach.
