ABSTRACT
To compare bidimensional and three-dimensional measurements of lung tumor volumes to verify if any relationship between size fetal hydrops can be established. In the period 2004 2006, five fetuses with type II cystic adenomatoid malformation (CAM) were referred our prenatal diagnosis unit at 25 weeks mean gestational age. The CVR is ratio CAM volume head circumference. It has been considered there values onset hydrops. calculation was obtained by 2D ultrasound, using formula an ellipse (length × width height 0.52), 3D ultrasound VOCAL technique. ⩽ 1.6 a predictor favorable outcome. provided lower than 1.6. technique in three higher two fetuses. Fetal developed one fetus value Other authors have previously shown that more accurate measuring irregular masses. hands, confirmed outcome case CAM. particular, mode, possibility depicting mass contours, seems further improve accuracy precision these types evaluation.
