Several this genus are under threat wild, mainly from habitat destruction therefore, accurate information about sexual cycle exact time follicular development can be effective successful reproduction planning preventing extinction. Objective experimental part study focused on evaluation reproductive apparatus tortoises follicles ovaries during 1 year by ultrasonography computed tomography. Methods Ultrasonography CT scanning was carried out 10 female ‘ T. Graeca ’ which were maintained at Tehran Eram Zoo November 2021 to 2022 (1 year). exams performed all animals. Results In first study, 28 2021, ovarian characterized presence previtellogenic atretic follicles. numbers best demonstrated examination. scan second showed no change type previous study. third more than follicles, whereas fourth one, following, 6 29 June 2022, absence just observed. On 20 July few number noticed. 30 and, for time, preovulatory obvious. four following studies diagnosed. last Conclusion current evaluated captivity with scan. It concluded captivity, does not result formation eggs calcareous shells continued before; so should highly considered breeding programmes. This also revealed among imaging modalities, modality detecting shape, size, further location shape
