ABSTRACT
As a promising strategy to remove and recover phosphorus from wastewater, optimization of the struvite (MgNH4 PO4 .6H2 O) precipitation parameters is required achieve desirable removal efficiency. To tackle challenges upon methods as three-level full factorial designs, central composite design well, Box-Behnken was implemented optimize different reaction for recovery during in current study. Moreover, orders rate equation were all determined reveal kinetics precipitation. The results showed that optimal operating pH, Mg/P ratio N/P 9.82, 1.45, 4.00, respectively, by which more than 95% efficiency could be achieved. In addition, it found pH pH/(N/P) had most influence on among individual factors interactive items, respectively. partial -P, Mg2+ , NH4+ kinetic 1.586, 0.930, 1.236 while constant k 0.0167 ± 0.0014 mM-2.752 per minute differential method.
