Determination of diffusion coefficients by measurements of electrical resistivity

The evolution of the electrical resistivity of ribbons and wires in which a transient diffusion process occurs is calculated. From these results the optimal experimental procedure is inferred for determining the diffusion coefficient without the use of correction procedures.
