ABSTRACT
A bstract Recent work by Zamolodchikov and others has uncovered a solvable irrelevant deformation of general 2D CFTs, defined turning on the dimension 4 operator $$ T\overline{T} <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:mi>T</mml:mi> <mml:mover> <mml:mo>¯</mml:mo> </mml:mover> </mml:math> ,the product left- right-moving stress tensor. We propose that in holographic dual, this represents geometric cutoff removes asymptotic region AdS places QFT Dirichlet wall at finite radial distance r = c bulk. As quantitative check proposed duality, we compute signal propagation speed, energy spectrum, thermodynamic relations both sides. In all cases, obtain precise match. derive an exact RG flow equation for metric dependence effective action deformed theory, find it coincides with Hamilton-Jacobi governs evolution classical gravity AdS.
