ABSTRACT
In order to simultaneously account for both $R_{D^{(\ast)}}$ and $R_{K^{(\ast)}}$ anomalies in $B$-decays, we consider an extension of the Standard Model by a single vector leptoquark field, study how one can achieve required lepton flavour non-universality, starting from priori universal gauge couplings. While unitary quark-lepton mixing induced $SU(2)_L$ breaking is insufficient, find that effectively nonunitary mixings hold key address anomalies. As intermediate step towards various UV-complete models, show charged leptons with additional vector-like heavy successfully provide framework explain $R_{D^{(\ast)}}$. These realisations have strong impact electroweak precision observables violating ones: isosinglet are already excluded due excessive contributions $Z$-decays. Furthermore, near future, expected progress sensitivity violation experiments should allow fully probe this class models.
