ABSTRACT
In this paper, the springback of aluminium alloy AA5754 under hot stamping conditions was characterised stretch and pure bending conditions. It found that elevated temperature beneficial for reduction, particularly when using dies. Using cold dies, flange angle decreased by 9.7 % blank increased from 20 to 450 °C, compared 44.1 reduction dies were used. Various other forming also tested, results which used verify finite element (FE) simulations processes in order consolidate knowledge springback. By analysing tangential stress distributions along formed part FE models, it is a linear function average through-thickness gradient, regardless
