ABSTRACT
Inhibition of digestive lipases refers to the suppression dietary fat absorption and, some extent, a strategy against overweight and obesity. In this study, effect five commercial black chokeberry juices on pancreatic lipase as key enzyme relevant obesity was investigated using substrates triolein, sunflower oil, rapeseed oil emulsions well 4-methylumbelliferyl oleate. The were also analyzed for antioxidant capacity (ABTS·+, DPPH·, FRAP methods), qualitative quantitative composition phenolic compounds nutrients. Significant differences observed among their chemical compositions biological activities. Chokeberry rich in proanthocyanidins, followed by hydroxycinnamic acids, anthocyanins, flavonols. Their inhibitory activity related polyphenol content, that proanthocyanidins. results reported herein have shown influence proanthocyanidin degree polymerization activity, especially lipid emulsions. conclusion, work suggests juice may be potential source inhibitors, if it contains high molecular compounds.
