ABSTRACT
Abstract Non-invasive assessment of myocardial work is a newly described technique to assess energetics. This has not been previously studied the effects right ventricular pacing at different sites or heart rates in children. We aimed study apical, septal, and His bundle on along with increasing rate. was prospective pilot performed six patients structurally normal hearts function following an electrophysiology study. Global index global efficiency highest during lowest apical pacing. The constructive work, index, were progressively worse rates. In this study, we demonstrated that indices differ depending activation pattern pediatric patients. Myocardial performance as assessed by when apex compared septal can be affected higher rates, work–frequency relationship.
