Abstract Background In 2020, ACIE Appy study showed that COVID‐19 pandemic heavily affected the management of patients with acute appendicitis (AA) worldwide, an increased rate non‐operative (NOM) strategies and a trend toward open surgery due to concern virus transmission by laparoscopy controversial recommendations on this issue. The aim was survey again same group surgeons assess if any difference in attitudes AA had occurred later stages outbreak. Methods From August 15 September 30, 2021, online questionnaire sent all 709 participants study. included questions personal protective equipment (PPE), local policies screening for SARS‐CoV‐2 infection, NOM, surgical approach disease presentations 2021. results were compared from previous Results A total 476 answers collected (response 67.1%). Screening significatively improved most screened regardless symptoms (89.5% vs. 37.4%) PCR antigenic test as preferred (74.1% 26.3%).
