ABSTRACT
Abstract Avocado cultivation holds significant economic importance in many countries, ranking Colombia as the fifth largest global producer. Particularly, Hass cultivar plays a pivotal role Colombia’s avocado industry, especially Department of Antioquia, primary export region. This is grown under diverse soil and climate conditions exhibits considerable genetic polymorphism due to hybridization varieties agronomic significance, leading array landrace rootstocks. However, rootstock genotype structuring rhizosphere bacterial communities still lacking. In addressing this knowledge gap, we investigated influence two on structure associated with genotypes Persea americana cv. Hass, utilizing 16S rRNA sequencing. Notably, no differences related were observed. study reports that microbiome remains consistent across rootstocks, while variations key parameters such phosphorus, pH, Mg, Ca drive distinct effects. Our results reveal despite soils having similar management, increases these crucial can lead lower alpha diversity more complex co-occurrence network. addition, found substantial beta diversity, composition, metagenome predictions between farms, underscoring variables shaping microbiome. These findings provide valuable insights into factors influencing may play health productivity crops agro-industrial potential, avocado.
