ABSTRACT
The purpose of this agreement was to establish evidence-based consensus statements on imaging scapholunate joint (SLJ) instability by an expert group using the Delphi technique.Nineteen hand surgeons developed a preliminary list questions SLJ instability. Radiologists created based literature and authors' clinical experience. Questions were revised during three iterative rounds. panellists consisted twenty-seven musculoskeletal radiologists. scored their degree each statement eleven-item numeric scale. Scores '0', '5' '10' reflected complete disagreement, indeterminate agreement, respectively. Group defined as score '8' or higher for 80% more panellists.Ten fifteen achieved in second round. remaining five third It agreed that dorsopalmar lateral radiographs should be acquired routine work-up patients with suspected Radiographic stress views dynamic fluoroscopy allow accurate diagnosis MR arthrography CT are detecting interosseous ligament tears articular cartilage defects. Ultrasonography MRI can delineate most extrinsic carpal ligaments, although validated scientific evidence differentiation between partially completely torn incompetent ligaments is not available.Delphi-based agreements suggest standardized radiographs, radiographic views, fluoroscopy, useful techniques instability.• Dorsopalmar wrist remain basic modality • Wrist determination
