ABSTRACT
Abstract Spinel ferrite nanoparticles can be easily retrieved and utilized for multiple cycles due to their magnetic properties. In this work, of a Zn x Cu 1-x Fe 2 O 4 composition were synthesized by employing sol–gel auto-combustion technique. The morphology, composition, crystal structure examined using scanning electron microscopy, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction. produced are in the range 30–70 nm manifest spinel cubic structure. tested sensitivity H S gases, Cu-based found most sensitive selective gas. Their enhanced response gas was attributed production metallic CuFeS that higher electrical conductivity as compared with CuFe . fabricated sensors functional at low temperatures, consequently, they need operational power. They also simple fabricate appropriate cost.
