ABSTRACT
Abstract Objective In this study, we investigated the impact of perioperative administration Bifidobacterium triplex viable capsules on serum levels circulating miR-21-5p, miR-135-5p, and miR-155-5p in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). The purpose study is to provide a foundation for future research use enhance postoperative recovery CRC. Methods A total 60 primary CRC admitted Department General Surgery at Shanxi Bethune Hospital between June 2020 December were selected randomly divided into two groups: 20 cases control group 40 experimental group. was administered oral during period, while placebo. Before after expression compared both groups patients. Furthermore, established prognostic value these three miRNAs Results After surgery, decreased ( P < 0.05). Significantly greater differences observed miR-21-5p miR-135-5p 0.001). Expression = 0.020) 0.023) significantly more than above surgery did not correlate 3-year OS (HR 4.21; 95% CI 0.37–47.48; log-rank 0.20) or DFS 1.57; 0.32–7.66; 0.55) groups. Conclusion Radical reduces assists achieving quicker from radical patients, underlying mechanism may be associated regulation levels.
