ABSTRACT
Abstract Salivary gland carcinomas represent a heterogeneous group of poorly characterized head and neck tumors. The purpose this study was to evaluate ALK gene protein aberrations in large, well-characterized cohort these A total 182 salivary were tested for anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) positivity by immunohistochemistry (IHC) using the cut-off 10% positive cells. tumors subjected FISH analysis followed hybrid capture–based next generation sequencing (NGS). Of tumors, 8 IHC. Further capture NGS revealed novel MYO18A (Exon1-40)- (exon 20-29) fusion one case intraductal carcinoma. Additional genomic analyses resulted detection inactivating mutations BRAF TP53 , as well amplifications ERBB2 . rearrangements are rare entity carcinomas. We identified potentially targetable an carcinoma minor glands.
