ABSTRACT
Abstract The aim of this observational study was to investigate the influence different typical preterm diseases on NT-proBNP serum levels in early postnatal period life a infant. 118 infants born ≤ 31 weeks GA were determined at first week life, after 4 ± 1 and corrected gestational age 36 + 2 weeks. Relevant complications with possible values such as neonatal infection, hemodynamically significant PDA (hsPDA), pulmonary hypertension (early PH), intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) evaluated; bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), BPD-related (BPD-associated late IVH, intestinal evaluated. At weeks, we examined effect retinopathy prematurity (ROP), BPD, BPD-associated PH, infection levels. In days only isolated occurrence hsPDA resulted significantly increased multiple linear regression analysis, remained independently associated age, presence BPD PH levels, analysis. relevant final evaluation time tended have lower than our exploratory reference values. Conlusion : seems be mainly influenced by an or inflammation. are most important factors influencing month life. When reach chronological rather must considered when interpreting What is Known: • Several prematurity, PDA, hypertension, dysplasia, been shown their New: Hemodynamically major factor increase Bronchopulmonary approximately age.
