Colon cancer is a disease with worldwide spread. Surgery the best option for treatment of advanced colon cancer, but some aspects are still debated, such as extent lymphadenectomy. In Japanese guidelines, gold standard was D3 dissection to remove central lymph nodes (203, 213, and 223), in 2009, Hoenberger et al. introduced concept complete mesocolic excision, which surgical follows embryological planes mesentery entirely prevent leakage cells collect more nodes. Our study describes how lymphadenectomy currently performed major Italian centers an unclear indication on type that should be during right hemicolectomy (RH).
