ABSTRACT
Abstract Climatology has increasingly become an important discipline for understanding tourism and recreation, especially in the era of contemporary climate change. Climate indices, this respect, have been useful tools to yield climatic attractiveness destinations as well their altering suitability various types along with changing climates. In study, a major gap comprehensive index tailored ski is aimed be fulfilled. For purpose, initially Ski Index (SCI) specified, based on fuzzy logic informed by literature through extensive co-creation industry experts, applied emerging destination, Turkey, regional modeling projections. The designed combination snow reliability aesthetics comfort facets, latter which includes sunshine, wind, thermal conditions. Results show that Eastern Anatolia region climatically most suitable area future development, taking account overriding effects natural technical reliability. Future research suggestions include incorporation more components into recommendations improve its application validation.
