ABSTRACT
An increasing and early-onset use of immunosuppressives biologics has become more frequently seen among patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) rheumatic disorders. Many women in their childbearing years currently receive such medications, some them an interdisciplinary setting. questions arise already pregnant or wishing to conceive respect continuing discontinuing treatment, the risks borne by newborns mothers long-term safety. Together Austrian Society Rheumatology Rehabilitation, IBD working group Gastroenterology Hepatology elaborated consensus statements on pregnancy lactation. This is first this topic. It intended serve as a basis support for providing advice our treating physicians.
