ABSTRACT
Abstract Quantum computing has emerged as a promising field with the potential to revolutionize information processing and storage. Understanding its current state research trajectory is crucial. This study aims map literature on quantum computing, identify how being used in solving software problems improving algorithms. Moreover, it examines evaluation parameters challenges faced this field. A systematic mapping was conducted using SCOPUS database, including all papers up December 2024. Relevant articles were selected based inclusion criteria, content analysis performed categorize synthesize findings. Information gathered from 33 primary studies. Findings show that mainly applied machine learning optimization, though classical methods still outperform it. IBM most platform. Research focuses algorithm efficiency, verification over validation, resource but lacks standardized methods. Key limitations include hardware constraints, noise, scalability, while involve integration, error correction, problem formulation. continues face significant technological challenges, lays groundwork for future advances. More practical studies real strategies improve implementation performance of algorithms are needed. Effective evaluation, verification, validation solutions must be further investigated.
