To better estimate the true prevalence surgery, we reviewed two different sources data recorded sample Norwegian Methods 474 patients treated surgically during 2015 2016 at four hospitals reported to national spine registry (NORspine). were by NORspine, cross-referenced documented NORspine with patients´ electronic patient records (EPR) re-test complication rates. We performed descriptive statistics rates using above, analyzed association between postoperative clinical outcome logistic regression. Results The mean (95%CI) age was 66.3 (65.3–67.2) years, 254 (53.6%) females. All decompression, 51 (10.7%) received an fusion index surgery. Combining sources, found total rate 22.4%, 15.6%, EPR review resulted 16.0%. types inconsistent across sources. According frequency reoperation within 90 days 0.9% according 3.4%. wound infection 3.1% 2.1%. There no outcome. Conclusion occurred 22% differed
