ABSTRACT
Abstract Calcium ions are used in the development of biomaterials for promotion coagulation, bone regeneration, and implant osseointegration. Upon implantation, time-dependent release calcium from titanium surfaces modifies physicochemical characteristics at implant–tissue interface thus, biological responses.
