ABSTRACT
Abstract Objectives The aim of the present in vitro study is to determine cytocompatibility recently introduced NeoPutty contact with human dental pulp cells compared its precursor NeoMTA Plus and classic gold standard MTA Angelus. Materials methods Sample disks were obtained for each tested materials (5 mm diameter; 2 thickness; n = 30), along 1:1, 1:2, 1:4 material eluents. HDPCs extracted cultured (test groups) or unconditioned medium (control group), following biocompatibility assays performed: MTT assay, scratch wound cell cytoskeleton staining assays, attachment assessment via SEM. Additionally, ion release surface element composition evaluated ICP-MS SEM–EDX, respectively. Each experimental condition was carried out three times assessed independent experiments. Statistical significance established at p < 0.05. Results 1:2 dilutions all exhibited a comparable viability that control group 48 72 h culture ( 0.05). same observed 24, 48, > All adequate remaining assays. significantly higher calcium Conclusion results from work elucidate NeoPutty, Plus, Angelus towards cells. Clinical relevance Within limitations study, our may act as preliminary evidence use vital therapy capper. However, need be interpreted caution until further clinical supporting reported.
