ABSTRACT
Abstract Wet clutches are widely used in power transmission, but lack of the fact an energy loss open state condition. The flow conditions fluid wet analyzed by analytical means. requisite simplifications that result analytically integrateable solution stated detail. Special emphasis is put on role gravitation equations motion. This force component leads to a slightly earlier aeration than conditions. and resultant solutions considered means dimensionless quantities. Despite actual geometric parameters drag torque can be described as $$\zeta_{\mathrm{m}}=\pi/\mathrm{Re}_{\mathrm{l}}$$ ζ m = π / Re l .
