Is there a link between Spigelian and inguinal hernias? A case series

Abstract Introduction Spigelian hernias are among the rare primary ventral hernias. Diagnosis is often difficult, as many cases asymptomatic. and inguinal usually considered separately in current scientific literature. With this case series, we want to illustrate a possible relationship between neighboring hernia types. Methods In article, report on series of that were operated five centers period from January 1st, 2021 October 31st, 2023. We have summarized all patient characteristics with previous operations result secondary operation. Results 24 hernias, 15 which connection these cases, however, it not certain whether primarily overlooked or occult arisen secondarily, surgery. Summary would like point out hernia.
